The term entertainment is widely used to describe a variety of activities and experiences in today’s communication media. Vorderer (2001) defines it as something that lifts a person above their normal, everyday life. Ferri (2010) explains that the search for entertainment is one of the reasons why people engage in particular communication media. Entertaiment can also be seen as a way to get away from daily, boring and burdening situations. Often it is a way to experience a euphoric state and forget about all your problems. It can make you feel like you are in another world and wish it lasts forever.
